Raving About… Lillian Crowe Jewellery
2011
Jeweller Lillian Crowe‘s stunning pieces are absolutely up my alley. Especially the pyramid ring. So very tempted.

These days I’m really into over-the-top jewellery. Big chunky rings. Ginormous statement necklaces. Stacked together and clamouring for attention. Bring it on!

Montreal-made La Raffinerie jewellery has been tempting me for the past few months. These African-inspired necklaces and earrings feature colourful silk or satin and contrasting vintage pendants. Created by Julia Vallelunga of the popular blog À La Mode Montréal, these stylish pieces would add some colour and style to a simple outfit. It’s high-time I get one for myself. Which one should I get?!
At the moment, I am feasting my eyes on vintage swimsuits as wall art,
song quotes on tote bags,
delicately pretty jewellery and perfume displays,
this dress from Proenza Schouler’s pre-fall 2011 collection,
the Golding-Tomter family and their rad living room,
this amazing light fixture from Anthropologie,
and Don Draper on wheels.
I really love seeing how other women display and store their jewellery; I even wrote a blog post about it back in March. Jewellery is a form of art and just like any other art, you can display it.
Jewellery designer Pamela Love’s home was recently featured on The Selby. It reminded me of how much fun I had digging around a vintage jewellery shop the other day. So much beauty, just like in a gallery. Not just jewellery but tons of pretty bits and objects…
PS. Pamela Love’s jewellery is amazing! Check it out.
