I think Paul Frank makes pretty snappy specs, don’t you? I like this girl’s preppy biker look.

What a gorgeous pairing of glasses and hair colour. Yellow is not a colour you see very often for specs – what do you think of them? I like them!

Some random glasses-spiration for the week.

I’m not really sure what is up with the crows gathering around her, but I thought you might like the glasses:

This shot has got a old school feel:

Good morning!! How were your weekends? Mine was pretty low-key due to both Richy and I being under the weather..  But at least we got lots of rest.

This week is extra short due to a holiday on Thursday.  On Thursday my mother and I will head off to Chicago for a fun-filled weekend! If you’ve got any windy city tips, let me know, as it’ll be the first time we explore that city.

And of course here are some gorgeous glasses to start off the week.

Dearest Red Glasses readers,

I am overdue for some new glasses, so I thought I would do a little survey on which glasses you prefer amongst my top contenders. Don’t be shy! Please tell me which ones you prefer in the comments, or even email me! (caroline.pelletier AT gmail.com)

Thanks and much love,

Caroline

Contender #1: The Ray-Ban New Wayfarer

This is a classic. The New Wayfarer as compared to the classic Wayfarer looks a lot lighter on the face, a little more delicate. This one I could get in red so that’s a big bonus, though that isn’t the most important factor. Truth be told, I’m debating about whether or not it’s the shape I want. I think I like them better as sunglasses…

On an actual person, they look something like this:

Contender #2: The “Peace of Mind” by Paul Frank

These are my top choice, and they are the most “out there” for sure. Besides having a super cool name, these are geeky in the best way. I mean they are HUGE. Like the glasses my mother wore in the ’80s. In fact, I think my  mother would hate them for exactly that reason.

On a person, they look something like this (not exactly the same shape, but the general hugeness is well-represented):

Contender #3: A Tom Ford Pair (model TF5129 to be precise)

These have an old school ’80s shape, done up and not quite as BIG.  I’ve been smitten with this general shape, as you may have noticed from my Lundi Lunettes posts.

On a person, they look something like this (general shape, but the Tom Fords are definitely smaller on the face):
