I am one of 300 bloggers taking part in the Blog It Foward project started by Victoria of Sfgirlbybay.  The idea was to create a chain of blog posts wherein bloggers talk about what inspires them the most. In my group, Red Bird Style preceded me on Friday, and tomorrow, Redesign Technologies follows!

Starting this blog two months ago has enabled me to articulate for the first time exactly what I love in design, home decor and in fashion. I’ve always known what I like on instinct, but couldn’t have put that taste into words. One recurring theme on Red Glasses is colour, so in the interest of narrowing down the scope of this thing, that’s what I’ll focus on.

Suno NY is a clothing line known for its bold use of colour.

To me, using bold colours in design symbolizes passion, emotions and pushing things to the limit. It also means taking risks, standing out from the crowd and asserting your own style. It’s about remaining a kid at heart.
