One of my favourite memories from visiting Lebanon last summer was the fruit. Specifically, the cherries and apricots were irresistibly yummy. In fact, I didn’t particularly like apricots before my visit to Lebanon; how that changed once I sunk my teeth into a Lebanese apricot! It must be something about the Middle Eastern sun; the fruit were perfectly ripened, sweet but still firm. I ate them until my belly ached, but I’ve never been able to find apricots nearly as good back in Montreal.

What is the best fruit you’ve ever had?
