Well folks the contest for coolest counters ever is closed. This giant slab of cypress tree resting atop blue sawhorses takes the prize.  Look at how wide it is – it must have been a gigantic tree. They even left some bark on. The counter is an imposing natural element in a house otherwise packed to the rafters in concrete and stainless steel.  Love it!
