The next best thing to being by the sea is to add a marine-inspired accessory to your home.  And while nautical home decor can be nice, it’s important to remember that a little goes a long way – so try not to go overboard (b’dum-CHING!).

these are some really great finds! I especially love that striped throw in the first photo, it would be so perfect in my dream cottage in pugwash, nova scotia. i also love anything with an anchor and of course the life preservers are so classic (and practical!). i will however heed your advice and not go overboard ;)

What’s in Pugwash? My dream is to have a place by the sea – but I can’t see myself moving away from Montreal at this point unfortunately!
